TAKISADA NAGOYA Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it will change its corporate name to TAKISADA CORPORATION.

In 2001, following the introduction of Japan’s corporate spin-off system, TAKISADA CORPORATION was divided into two independent companies: TAKISADA NAGOYA Co., Ltd. and TAKISADA OSAKA Co., Ltd. In response to the rapidly changing business environment, the decision was made to establish separate companies in Nagoya and Osaka in order to strengthen on-site management, encourage independent management philosophies, and improve the speed and originality of each company’s decision-making. To demonstrate the enduring relationship between the two companies, both retained the “TAKISADA” name while operating independently as TAKISADA NAGOYA and TAKISADA OSAKA, maintaining close ties over the past 25 years.
Over time, however, as each company expanded its own business, new challenges emerged. In particular, the coexistence of two companies bearing the TAKISADA name, as well as geographical references in their corporate names, increasingly created obstacles in overseas business activities and global talent recruitment.
After extensive and sincere discussions regarding the future of our corporate identities, both companies concluded that clarifying their respective corporate brands and strengthening global recognition would best serve their long-term growth. As a result, we have decided to adopt new corporate names.

We would also like to share the meaning behind the name TAKISADA.
This is not simply a return from TAKISADA NAGOYA to TAKISADA. Rather, it marks the beginning of a new TAKISADA. Since our founding, we have remained committed to enriching people’s lives by providing products that support everyday living. Throughout our 162-year history, we have cultivated expertise in identifying superior materials, creating value, and building trust through honest business practices. These principles remain unchanged. What will change is the scale of our ambition. From raw materials to finished products, extending beyond fashion into a wide range of industries and lifestyles, and reaching markets around the world, we will unite the strengths we have accumulated over generations to become a company that connects materials with markets. Together with our colleagues, we will continue to embrace challenges without fear of risk. The name TAKISADAembodies our determination that every member of the TAKISADA Group will continue to grow, innovate, and move beyond conventional boundaries.

As TAKISADA, we are taking a new step forward and will continue creating greater value and enriching people’s lives in every field we serve.
